Have worked with Michal Carpenter for over a decade. Sometimes life happens, get distracted or not pay attention and end up with a driving infraction. Called wanting to speak with Mr.Carpenter regarding a legal issue, I was half expecting to get a call back from a legal assistant or paralegal. Mr.Carpenter called me himself, and was able to point me in the right direction and give me the legal advice I was searching for over the phone. Although I didn't end up needing to retain Mr.Carpenter, I felt he handled my issue with care and respect. He listened and gave me the time of day, never making me feel like my problem was a waste of his time or unimportant. Will definitely be hiring him in the future, if I'm ever in need of an attorney!

While I was full time student and in a relationship for five years w/ 2 children (hers), and I allowed myself to get into (DUI) trouble for the third time because of how I responded to the event of our breakup. I was facing losing my license, I was still attending T.C.C as a full-time business student, jail, fines, etc. What I learned from the first two times/ mistakes, is there is little wiggle room for an attorney, even one like Michael Carpenter to manuever when it comes to the court system, and with multiple DUIs specifically.

Unless it's your first offense with a low BAC, all attorneys follows a court appointed rubrick which was created to categoroize the level of your offense/s. So, if it's your second time, don't be sold by an overpriced, over-zealous, self-centered blowhard that claims you can get away with it without any negative consequences...it will hurt, you'll be inconvenienced, and it's all your fault!

As limited as my income was at the time, Michael Carpenter made obtaining his services very easy for me because he's amicable, reliable, available, competent, reasonable, and personable and all are invaluable...precious when you're riddle with guilt and highly anxious about the potential time in jail, the total expense of it all (City fines, Breathalyzer equipment, Fees, Court Costs, etc.) and losing your freedom to operate a vehicle in the state of Washington which effects you and those around you.

in closing, I always believed that Michael Carpenter was sincerely doing all that he could for me within the confines of the law, and that extra mile went a long way for me and meant the world to me.

I am so happy to see my results for all of my traffic infractions and violation tickets. So i had 3 traffic infractions, (speeding, following up too close,and improper lane change) with a 3rd degree dwls and my father in law recommended me Mike carpenter's law firm. I contacted Amy and she took care of my case, and was so responsive and communicated well. MIKE took care of my all the cases and my infractions got dismissed. Also they told me that if he could get my infractions dismissed then i don't have to pay my last installment of their fees not to mention it was $500. The payment arrangement were flexible too. I also had another infraction ( speeding for conditions) that just got dismissed today, and i didn't had to pay fines for that.Their team is professional and communicative, i didn't had any problem with anything. I hired Mr. Carpenter to represent me through some legal troubles. He was both professional and courteous. I was referred to Mr. Carpenter by a friend whom he had recently represented. I felt like Mr. Carpenter actually listened to me and took the time to learn about me as an individual, as well as the specifics of my case.

Mr. Carpenter was willing to deal with my issues and was sensitive to my financial situation and worked with me to arrange payment.

Mr. Carpenter was both professional in both his dealings with me and with the court. He always showed up well dressed and prepared. There were a few instances in which Mr. Carpenter was late, but *never* without advanced warning and both times were well within an acceptable time frame. In both instances he had just come from representing another client.

When I first approached Mr. Carpenter, I explained to him that my primary goal was to avoid jail time at all costs and to minimize the impact on my day to day life. On both counts Mr. Carpenter was able to achieve my wishes. The eventual resolution to my case satisfactory.

While I have every confidence Mr. Carpenter looked over my case to seek a better way out, he and I were both aware from the onset that deferment would mostly likely be my only option. Without Mr. Carpenter representing me, I have every confidence I would be sitting in jail today and that I would have had my record marred by a conviction.

Finally, and as an aside, his assistant, Amy, is great. She's funny and very capable. She never failed to return my calls promptly whenever I had questions regarding my case.
